Good Morning Sunshine
The boys have definitely kept the personalities that they were born with! Carter is like his Momma...he is NOT a morning person and needs his milk before he can function (his Mommy needs her coffee!). Coleman wakes up all smiles and chatting away.
Here was Mr. Carter Bug when he first woke up the other day...
Once a teacher...always a teacher...
The boys LOVE to learn, and of course I am thrilled to watch them learn and grow in their knowledge. Last week boIh of the boys had croup and we were pretty much on lock down in our house, so I decided to pull out some activities for them to work on. We worked on patterns, one to one correspondence, and sequential order. I think their favorite part was using dry erase markers for some of the sheets. :o)
Crafty Boys
I love working on crafty projects around the house, and of course there always seem to be two small friends that like to "help" me. Their favorite things to do are to sand and to paint, so this project was right up their alley! I have to admit...they do a pretty good job!

Boys and their trucks
Carter L-O-V-E-S trucks. Monster trucks. Pick up Trucks. Dump trucks. You name it, but his favorite is monster trucks...and the bigger the tire, the better. Here's my little guy with all of his monster trucks on a parade :o)
Fall Festival
Last week we went to a Fall festival with some of our friends and the boys had a GREAT time! They went on a hayride, played on a bounce house, went trick or treating, watched a magic show, and played some games. Needless to say, they were two very sleepy boys that night!!

Saturday Fun-day
I am a summer girl at heart, but there is something about the Fall weather that is relaxing and makes you want to be outside (without sweating as soon as you walk out the door). Yesterday we started our day at the Home Depot kids craft morning where the boys built a firetruck....they L-O-V-E-D hammering and building their very own trucks...so much so that they didn't even want to bounce in the bounce house afterwards if it meant they couldn't play with their trucks.
After the Home Depot fun day we met up with some friends and headed to a local church for a Fall festival. They had a small train that rode around the parking lot, so of course we HAD to ride it...they also fished for prizes, listened to Mother Goose tell a story, and bounced on the bounce house.
Then we headed off to Pike nurseries for some new flowers...and of course we had some help from the munchkins.
All in all, it was a pretty fun day and a great way to start the Fall!
The Neighs
Coleman and Carter LOVE animals, especially horses (which they like to call neighs). They aren't big fans of actually sitting on horses, pony rides, etc. and rarely want to pet them, but they sure do love looking at them! Who wouldn't though, they are such beautiful creatures!
Well, last weekend Jared and I took a much needed vacation to Nashville and the boys stayed with his parents. When we got back on Saturday I snapped this sweet picture of all three generations looking at the neighs :o)
