Halloween

The boys were SO excited about Halloween, and it is one of my favorite holidays. We went to Fall festivals, pumpkin patches, trick or treating, and to a trunk or treat. Here are some pictures to enjoy!

Dressing Up

The boys love to dress up, and finally decided that they want to be batman for Halloween...after trying everything else on, of course. :o)

Sesame Street Live!

We took the boys to Sesame Street Live last weekend and they LOVED it! Of course we had to visit the Varsity first for some dinner before heading to the show. ;o)

First Day of Preschool!

I realize that I have a LOT to catch up on, so I thought I would start with my big boys! They started preschool this year and are absolutely loving it. They LOVE their teacher and their classmates which of course makes my heart smile. Here are some pictures of my big boys on their first day of school this year!

4th of July

For the second year in a row, I ran the Peachtree Road Race with another twin Mama and good friend of mine, Jennifer. It threatened to rain all morning, but that didn't keep us from having a little dress up fun in the holiday spirit of things :o)

That night we headed to the Braves game with the boys. They loved the game and lasted through all 9 innings and were excited about the fireworks afterwards...until they started. The fireworks were super loud, and Coleman kept his face behind his tomahawk for most of them. They still had a blast though and managed to sleep with their tomahawks in their beds that night and for several nights after.

Summertime Fun

Little Fish

Coleman and Carter LOVE anything with water lately. They love playing with the hose, taking a bath, taking a shower, playing in the pool, truly anything. After being at the beach with them and seeing how much their confidence has grown over the past year, we knew that we needed to sign them up for swim lessons before we missed the "window" and fear began to set in. They began 2 weeks ago and absolutely L-O-V-E it. Their instructor is amazing with them and the boys are hilarious to watch. They love to swim around and he creates "tunnels" for them out of flat mats, and had them be a train using noodles...which of course was RIGHT up their alley (anything with trains and swimming is a total win). They are still learning to turn to the wall for safety, get their eyes wet, and blow bubbles through their nose. Right now when they blow bubbles through their nose they say "excuse me" and "bless you". Gotta love these sweet boys and their manners!!

Myrtle Beach

Whew!! Two 3 year olds will keep a mama busy! I am slowly but surely updating the blog, so here ya go! In May we took a beach trip with my family to Myrtle Beach. We had a great time, and the boys keep asking to go back to the beach house....pretty sure ew have two beach bums on our hands!
