Busy bodies

The boys have worked themselves into a two longer naps a day and it is great but when they are up and at 'em they sure are busy little guys!



But when they are sleepy they crash...

Some Fun Updates

Okay, so I was in serious need of updating our blog and uploading pictures of our sweet boys! It has been a busy week and everyone came down with a pretty bad cold that took us out of our regular routine but at least the weather was cooling down which made it seem appropriate to lay around in pj's and eat chicken noodle soup. ;o)

We have become great independent sitters and are getting closer to crawling every day which is both exciting and scary!



Carter LOVES to take off his right sock (only the right one!) every time he gets in the car. I typically find it soggy and on the floor of the car wherever I stop, so I have learned to keep a spare pair in our diaper bag for my sockless little boy.

Teeth

Coleman is feeling MUCH better (although now Carter has his cold~) and his two bottom teeth are really starting to come in. We were finally able to get a picture of these two little chompers!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I hope you had a great holiday! We celebrated by attending a neighborhood festival and another festival at a large shopping center, our annual "orange dinner", and playing trick or treat in our new pumpkins that I found for them online.
Here are some of my favorite pictures over the past few days...I can't wait until next year when they can enjoy more of the "big kid" activities, but for now I don't mind carrying these cute little monkeys around :o)

Uncle Daniel

Uncle Daniel (Jared's brother) ran his first marathon today in D.C. We are so proud of him and all of his training and the boys wanted to send him a little picture message to wish him luck...Way to go Daniel!

First Cold

We have been fortunate that neither of the boys have been sick (and they are almost 8 months old!), but poor Coleman has finally caught his first cold. Poor little guy! I think it's harder for Jared and I to see but his personality definitely doesn't seem to be affected. In the past two weeks he's battled eczema, two teeth, and now his little cold! Hopefully the month of November will be a much better one for my little buddy.

Let's Go Falcons

I love watching college football, but there is nothing like being at a professional football game and in the atmosphere of it all. Jared and I were able to go to the game this weekend and watch the Falcon's win. It was such an exciting game! The boys were in full Falcon's gear to help support the team too :o)
