Such Big Boys

Our little men are seven weeks old today! It's hard to believe and it has gone by so quickly!! They are starting to stay awake a little more often after feedings and even have slept for over five hours a few nights in a row...whew!! They have gone on lots of "field trips" over the past week and do a GREAT job in their car seats and being pushed around Target and the grocery store. I guess it's because their Mom took them shopping so much when she was pregnant ;o).

I have finally come to grips with the fact that I can't pick up where I left off fitness wise and run three miles without feeling winded. I started the couch to 5k program to help get my booty back into shape and it's going really well. I'm not winded and feel like I could run forever as far as breathing goes, but boy do my legs get tired!! Hopefully I'll be back in shape in no time. I can't wait until September when I can put those sweet boys in our jogging stroller and bring them with me!!

In this picture we are wearing some adorable outfits that our friend, Miss Courtney, sent us all the way from Alabama. They have our big sister, Nestle, on them and we just can't thank Courtney enough for her thoughtfulness and for including or sister!

We like to hang out in our swings and bouncers while our big sister, Nestle, protects us...

We LOVE to pull on our Mommy's hair...

We are trying out our Baby Bjorn's and barely fit...

We also love to have our pacifiers...

Our Announcements

I just LOVE the announcements that we sent out for the boys! Christa with Creative Clicks photography took the pea in the pod and the hiney picture of the boys and designed the announcement and our wonderfully talented friend, Kara, took the individual pictures of the boys. :o) I am truly blessed to have these three boys as my family!

6 Weeks Old and Growing!

Our little guys are growing like weeds! I knew that they were starting to fill out more and their little legs were growing, but it wasn't until I took Coleman to the doctor yesterday for a blocked tear duct that I truly realized it. At the doctor they weighed him and he was a whopping 8lbs and 1oz! I realize that this isn't sumo wrestling standards by any means, but it's a huge jump from the 6lbs he was just two weeks ago. Carter did not have to go to the doctor but I'm sure he is right up there with his brother in weight and length.

Here are a few things that we've been up to the past week:

We still like to mirror each other any chance we get....

We LOVE to snuggle and try to be as close to one another as possible when we sleep...

We went on our FIRST outing out to eat and did GREAT!

I can't wait to see what next week brings!

5 Weeks Old Today!!!

From Drop Box

Our little guys are 5 weeks old today and are definitely growing leaps and bounds!! They are actually starting to fit into some of their newborn clothes (before they were just in their preemie ones), and their legs are growing by the minute! I wonder where they get those long legs from.... ;o)

Last week at their doctor's appointment they weighed 6lbs 3 ounces and 6lbs 4ounces. They had gained a whopping 2 ounces a day since leaving the NICU and coming home. I am sure they are 7lbs or close to that now.

I had my 5 week check up at the obgyn today (she is out of town next week, so we did it a week early) and everything went great! I have lost 50 of the 70lbs I gained with our two little men and she released me to run, so hopefully the next 20 will drop off just as fast and I can FINALLY stretch these legs!!

Gotta Love Some Pictures

The boys had another newborn photograph session with a photographer and did great! They slept through most of the session and we were able to capture some cute pictures. Here are a few to enjoy :o)

Lights, Camera, Action...

Last night my amazingly talented friend, Kara, took some newborn pictures of the boys. They cooperated for the most part, but we did have a few bathroom episodes and Coleman decided that he wanted to stay up for the entire shoot while Carter wanted to have sweet dreams. It was a lot of fun and Kara took some great pictures! Here are a few as a preview...
