We are moving into our new house today!! We have been so incredibly blessed to have Nana and Poppy open their home to us over the past 4 months and I'm sure they are ready to have their house return to normal and the noise level turned down! Today the moving vans will be bringing all of our things from the storage shed...after 4 months I'm not even sure what is in there anymore so it will be like Christmas all over again! :o) The posts may be a little slow over the next few days as we have a ton to do but I will post some pictures as soon as I get a chance.
I think I'll unpack this box first...

Carter and Coleman's First Christmas
We had such a great time celebrating Christmas and Jesus' birth with both sides of our family and of course with our little munchkins!!!
Christmas Eve we headed to my cousin's house where we had great food and a fun time (As always!) enjoying each others company and catching up (and of course I forgot my camera in the mad dash to get out of the door!). Christmas morning we spent at my parents house since we still had not moved into our new house and then packed up and headed off to the lake to have Christmas with Jared's family. It was definitely a busy few days but it was so much fun to be with everyone and to watch our sweet little guys enjoy their first Christmas. They will never remember this Christmas and how special it was, but I will never forget it!
Getting excited about our presents from Uncle Dave and Aunt Mercy:
Opening presents at Nana and Poppy's on Christmas morning:
Carter worn out from all of the excitement:
Into our Christmas outfits and ready for some more pictures:
Opening presents at the lake:
Play time:
The day after Christmas we had snow at the lake I wish I would have brought the boys snow suits, but who thinks it is going to snow in south Alabama?! It didn't last long but it was beautiful to watch:
We have become quite independent now that we can pull up on things...Carter helping Daddy empty the dishwasher:
These boys are definitely loved!:

Merry Christmas!!
"For He so loved the world that He gave his one and only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
That small sentence has such a powerful impact when you sit back and truly think of the implications it has for both you and I. What a true testiment it was for us to receive the freedom and happiness that we do and for us to enter a convenant with the Lord with such a tremndous bond that no being (Earthly or not) can destroy.
As I reflect and think back on what a roller coaster of a year it has been I can't help but count the blessings (double!~) that we have received with the birth of the two most precious things to us, our health (truly the power of prayer), our move, and our friendships and family. I'm sure I could go on and on with a list of hundreds if not thousands of things we have been blessed with in this year alone and if our Earthly world is this beautiful and engulfs our heart with such love I can't even BEGIN to imagine how amazing life is once we leave this body.
For now, my New Year's resolution is to enjoy this body and this life and to breathe in each of the memories we make this next year with a joyful heart (even the memories that you wish never happened!) and to start each morning knowing that it is by God's hand and love that we are here. May each of you have a very Merry Christmas celebrating our saviour and being with the ones you love!

Carter Bug
In just a few days Carter has started crawling faster and with more confidence...I think it's only a matter of time before he is crawling circles around me! He also has decided that he prefers to stand and is trying to pull up on anything and everything that he can. The ottoman seems to be just the right height to help give him a leg up (although he has tried to use Nestle as a spring board many times!). Coleman is beginning to figure it all out too...I think our world might get a little busier before long!
Coleman on the move!
It didn't take long for Coleman to catch up to his brother and start crawling on all fours! Saturday morning he put it all together and was on the move...now if I could just figure out a way to keep them away from all of the cords and outlets! Looks like we have some serious baby proofing to do in our new house next week!
