Little Helpers
Coleman and Carter LOVE to help. They love to help cook, sweep, dust, anything you can possibly think of. Their favorite thing to do is stir...which is good, since they also love pancakes, so they get a lot of practice!
Uncle Daniel
Jared's brother, Daniel, is in grad school in California and was able to come and visit for a little bit after Thanksgiving. The boys loved seeing and playing (and maybe climbing all over) Uncle Daniel! Sorry that it is so blurry, but these two wouldn't stay still for a picture!
Thanksgiving and Williamsburg
For Thanksgiving we headed up to Williamsburg, Virginia to have Thanksgiving lunch with my Mom's side of the family. We also spent a few days just visiting the city and enjoying the historic sites. It was so wonderful to see so many family members that we rarely get to see. We also got to help celebrate my grandpas 90th birthday!
Halloween
Halloween is one of my favorite times of year! I love watching all the little munchkins get dressed up in costume, the hayrides, the pumpkins, the pumpkin carving (Jared could probably do without this one), and the ambiance of it all...maybe my love for candy has something to do with it also...
Coleman and Carter are at such a fun age to do all these kinds of activities. We went to the pumpkin patch twice, hayrides galore, Halloween festivals, and anything and everything I could get my hands on to entertain these two.
On Halloween we hosted our neighborhood parade and get together at our house and had a great time. Coleman and Carter L-O-V-E-D trick or treating...seriously, they loved it. We were out and about for 2 hours (!!) and we still have candy coming out of our ears.
Here are some pictures from our adventures and Halloween night:

Long time and much overdue!!
Wowzas!! What a busy time of year it has been over here! I realized that I have not updated the blog in a long time, so hold on to your seats because here they come!! I've also decided (thanks to my fabulous honey) that I need a set schedule of when to update the blog so I can hold myself accountable. Sooo...I will be updating the blog every Sunday (at the latest) for the week :o)
Okay, here we go!!

Good Morning Sunshine
The boys have definitely kept the personalities that they were born with! Carter is like his Momma...he is NOT a morning person and needs his milk before he can function (his Mommy needs her coffee!). Coleman wakes up all smiles and chatting away.
Here was Mr. Carter Bug when he first woke up the other day...
Once a teacher...always a teacher...
The boys LOVE to learn, and of course I am thrilled to watch them learn and grow in their knowledge. Last week boIh of the boys had croup and we were pretty much on lock down in our house, so I decided to pull out some activities for them to work on. We worked on patterns, one to one correspondence, and sequential order. I think their favorite part was using dry erase markers for some of the sheets. :o)
